Step 1 - IDEA

Pick an IDEA. An idea that solves someone's problem.

Step 2 - RESEARCH

Find out how much demand/interest there is in your idea. Look at Google Trends, Facebook Marketplace and other sources to see what people want. Find out how much those customers are worth, how much other are charging, how much you should charge, who else has your idea, does it make money, is it worth the effort.

Step 3 - VALIDATE

Find out if people are willing to pay for it. Knock on doors. ASK people.

DO NOT spend time and money on an idea that has not gone through these steps. You need validate whether people want it and are willing to pay for it.
