Ungated Is Not Just a Content Strategy. It’s a Philosophy.

I recently reread an article by David C. Baker, someone whose work I’ve followed and admired for years. He talks about the value of sharing ungated insights — content that’s freely available, not hidden behind forms or lead magnets.
That idea sits right at the heart of how I want to build Rework.
Not as a funnel. Not as a tactic. But as a reflection of a bigger belief:
→ That helping others before asking for anything is still the best way to build trust
→ That showing your work publicly is a way to lead with generosity.
→ That in a world flooded with "how-to" noise, clarity and originality matter more than ever.
Rework is about building in public, helping others do the same, and sharing what I learn along the way — without expectation.
That’s why I’ve stopped worrying about giving away too much. Because the right people don’t need to be convinced — they just need to find something real.
